Automating setting up the game

Is it possible to automate things like setting up the lan game and connecting to it, so that all the players could just execute some script and all the necessary steps would be done automatically? If this is not possible right now, then can you tell me what could I change, to make it possible?

i would welcome such a patch as it might allow to plug in globulation into messangers or similar.

you are welcome to provide a patch and i will happily push it to our repository for future versions. you would get mentioned in the authors section. that's all we can offer in return.

as a start you might want to brows the source at
