New AI

Has anyone noticed how much difficulty the AI has with resources growing out of control? Has anyone attempted to make an AI that is able to handle overgrowth with walls or clearing areas? It would be interesting to see an AI that can tackle the bigger island maps that require clearing areas to colonize the island, even if it means the AI isn't very good at fighting.

best ai to deal with overgrowth is nicowar. nico also can digg through to an enemy. it has no strategy to settle on overgrown land as far as i know.
ais are a very special part of the glob2-code. we have 5 ai all done by different persons so i doubt that there will be an overgrowth-manager planted into all ais.

contact genixpro who did nicowar and ask him to handle it better ;)

I just tried a game against Nico. Yeah he seems to know how to control the resources fine. Thanks.
