I propose new kinds of globs. These globs behave just like warriors in the sense that the are attracted to warflags and guardzones. they are:
Scout - light and fast
Behemoth - huge mammoth-like quadruped. Super strong and super slow.
Ninja - you don't see him coming
post more suggestions if you have them
New Globs
Re: New Globs
IMHO the most important suggestion in your proposal is "they behave like warriors". If the only change in the interface is some more sliders in the swarm, I would not at all oppose this as I feel the paradigm "no micromanagement" in danger by most suggestions made but not by this. To release the pressure to add "attract this and that unit checkboxes" to the war flag I would oppose to use drastically different speed units. My proposed units would be:
- shadower: reduces fov to 1 in a range of 8
- healer: heals one unit at a time at a speed depending on his barrack/school level
- pusher: increases walk/swim speed of nearby units
- stone thrower: ranged attack
- magic saver: can teleport units
Re: New Globs
harg! it was melted plastic. my grafix card cooler almost fell out of my box. now i removed it and took an extra cooler for the housing that i never switched on and placed it directly under the grafix card. want to see pix?
Hm.. somehow size is limited here but well... you can see the relevant parts.

Re: New Globs
New globs warriors? Hm, nice idea. I'd like to suggest also ranger attack globs.
But new types of "warriors" in swarm would make totally chaos, as well as in the top where number of globs is. I think that it's a very good occasion to add a new building for warriors . Something like "vocational school" . They after being swarmed can specialise in some direction. And there we control as in swarm, what types of warriors should we have. I think that specialisations for our flying explorers would be also nice . (I thought about "bomber" )
For this idea is "+" from me.
PS: Scouts are bad idea, we already have flying scouts.
That was offtopic,
healer: not a good idea, hospitals would be useless
no
pusher:
no
stone thrower: hmm, problematic, I'd like that he would have never-ending ammunition,
yes
magic saver:
NO!
shadower: hmm, nija is better idea, but shadower is a better name ,
yes
behemoth:
yes
scout: as I wrote before,
no
My own suggestion:
commander: a little weaker than normal warrior, his special ability is that he can take over enemy non-offensive buildings, (maybe enemy globs too?)

Giszmo: Not everyone want to see the huge 2-page image of Your computer, really. If you want to show it, submit it somewhere and give us link.Giszmo wrote:IMHO the most important suggestion in your proposal is "they behave like warriors".
