Difficulty level?

Post by Advil »

Why not make costs higher amd enemies smarter (or atleast smart) the higher difficulty a person chooses. So that a novice player can start his game on easy, and the guys who have been with the project from the beginning can set the difficulty to "who's your father" or whatnot...

AI development is one of the biggest projects in this game. If you look in the CVS version there are alot of different AI's in varying degrees of stability. Choosing to just "make it tougher" is easier said then done.

Yeah i did notice that but the degree at which the various AI change at is substantial. I understand that the game is in dev, that's cool, which AI are stronger and weaker in succession though?

Numbi (wimp)
Castor (a bit stronger)
Nicowar (stronger than castor even)
Warrush (different; beats the other AIs)
