Globulation2 on LGDB

Post by XOIE »

Hello people!

I'm the maintainer of a very new site for native linux games:
The Linux Game Database http://www.lgdb.org
The aim of the site is to create an easy and feature rich tool to find games fast and provide a quick jet comprehensive impression.

I added Globulation2 to the database.
http://www.lgdb.org/game/globulation2

The sites relies heavily on game attributes like genre and features to form extensive filter possibilities for the user. It would be great if someone would check the information i provided and see if all is correct, please let me know if you like to have anything changed.

Ciao,
XOIE

Hi there,

Thanks for that. Anything that can increase the player base is awesome :)

I've checked out the page and it seems to me (being relatively new to glob2 myself) like your description is pretty accurate, just not sure about the genre. I'm not sure if there's a better genre for it, but it just feels kinda odd to me to think of it as sci-fi...

That's how I found this game, by the LGDB :)

Welcome aboard DDR.

And thank you XOIE for such an awesome site. One of the most feature filled and nicely designed linux gaming sites I've seen in a long time.

Keep up the good work.

I don't think I would list it as sci-fi however I don't know what else I would list it as. Until the backstory is developed (if ever) it really doesn't fit any theme.
do not be afraid to joust a giant just because some people insist on believing in windmills.

I agree with Donkyhotay. Right now perhaps the best I can come up with is "surrealist"
