unable to host

For some strange reason when I attempt to host a LAN game on FC4 the "host" player never joins. Others can join but the host player isn't there. This doesn't happen when creating a game online just LAN. I also don't have this issue on winXP. Any other FC4 users noticing this issue?

I use FC4 and simply installed all dependencies automatically through yum, dont' know about FC3.

distance is good

I like the distance idea, the fruits are mandatory to make the game more interesting, otherwise it's little more then buildarmyfastandattack which is dull. If fruits were removed then more units would become mandatory for good gameplay such as some type of ranged glob or maybe an artillery glob. Adm...

I think this game is onto something. I'm a big starcraft fan. I was really dissapointed with the direction war3 took . Admittedly the micro is much easier but on the other hand it's ALL about the micromanagement. The move towards macromanagement is something I've wanted to see implemented before but...
