remove flags
Same as destroying a building, you can either select the flag and then hit the "destroy" button in the lower right hand corner or simply press "d" which is the keyboard shortcut.

should default war flag settings be changed?
By default when a war flag is placed it will only assign one warrior to it. In general though you usually want a huge group of warrior to attack when placing one of these flags. This is *one* of the reasons I know many people simply use guard zones to attack. Wouldn't it be better though if the defa...

Re: cursor keys should not effect the map while in save/load
If you use the load or save game menu while playing, the cursor keys effect the menu as well as the map. That is: the cursor in the name of the saved game scrolls like it should but the map scrolls too. This feels weird and should be changed. I went ahead and reported this in the bug tracker for yo...

ladder system?
I don't know enough about YOG to know for certain but is it possible to set up a permenant ladder system into the game like SC or war3 has? Tournaments could then simply be set up using ladder rules.

I may take a look through the map generator and see what I can do. If the random map generator isn't complete then having an insta-map option when hosting multiplayer games wouldn't work. I was thinking the random map system was complete for creating maps within the editor and from there it would a ...

maybe a new tower should be made specifically for attacking explorers (can't attach ground)? maybe have the tower do that thing that explorers do, just a much larger radius... and maybe a bit weaker. I'm really glad explorers can fight now, it adds a whole new side to the game... a war for informat...

I feel kind of dumb
I was reading through the map editors source code wondering how difficult it would be to add a random map generator when I found that there already IS a random map generator built into the game thats accessed from the in-game map editor. For as much as I've been playing I had never actually looked a...

Re: Random Map Generator
I sure would love a random map generator. I'm thinking something similar to Age of Empires, where you specify a general land type (islands, desert, rivers) and a size and maybe some other parameters like relative starting positions. Is anyone working on something like this? I think it would really ...

Re: workaround for problem joining own host
I fixed my own problem, here's a work around until this bug can get fixed. The problem was due to the fact glob2 can only find it's own host by searching localhost and if your computer is named something else (as mine is) then it won't work unless the name is changed. So if anyone else out there ha...

Re: unable to host
For some strange reason when I attempt to host a LAN game on FC4 the "host" player never joins. Others can join but the host player isn't there. This doesn't happen when creating a game online just LAN. I also don't have this issue on winXP. Any other FC4 users noticing this issue? I fixe...

that's something we should create, some sort of road you can create, but can also put a building on, to keep from having to always have a clearing flag/area created. As for the guard thing, you're just wishing :P I think in another game I might check that out a bit more, because I want to see if so...
