seeing these i think about why not bind the terrain type to the map and integrate all those terrains in glob2? we've been discussing to make it a player-option to use different tile sets. now i think it should be a map-designers option to use those. as i said i would like to take the summ-version fo...

yes i would be fine with the high saturation version but i doubt a vote works like that. setup a new voting for high saturation version, please.

globules are made of liquid (according to stephane i guess). i would transliterate them. to me globule has no other meaning than our little guys.

this has been sorted out on the mailing list. those scripts are only for tracking translation outside the maps themselfs. the progress of copying campaign maps to the maps folder, opening them in an editor (soon with an old version of glob2 in order to get sgsl at all) loading those scripts, copying...

this issue was me being too fast at "fixing" a deprecated warning of scons. try now. it should be fixed in source.
hg clone http://hg.globulation2.org/glob2-new
cd glob2-new
hg update beta4-rc
scons

sorry i voted no but i prefere the old terrain. the game is not about realism and a toyish style fits better in my opinion.
as you combined the pull for fow and terrain i did not closely evaluate the fow but i guess i would like to switch for that.
