actually scons doesn't install dependencies automatically. If a dependency is missing it will stop and notify you of it during the configuration stage. Installing build-essential from the ubuntu repo's just installs the most common dependencies and compilers used. IMO I think it should be automatica...

In the future you should report all bug reports within the bug tracker. You will get better response there then in the forums.

This is an obvious answer but it's surprising the number of people that don't check this... is his/your firewall blocking the game at all? Another useful piece of information is, are you connecting directly with IP addresses or going through YOG?

explorers count just like warriors because at the last techlevel they are capable of attacking ground units. It's similar to starcraft where a zerg player attempts to survive through annoyance by burrowing a lone zergling somewhere. It never works, as the other players just cover the map with observ...

somehow I suspect your computer isn't 1100Ghz, probably more like 1100Mhz. What OS are you running? Have you tried using openGL.

actually the game DOES end when you destroy/convert all of the enemies units/buildings. If the game doesn't end it means the enemy has at least a few stray units running around the map if they don't have another base or two.

What version are you playing? I haven't played the game in awhile but I know as of version .22 the game sometimes has issues automatically seeing other games on the network. I just always typed in the address manually and thatt worked just fine.

while not mandatory an intro movie would be pretty cool to have. For a format I would recommend xvid since it is open-source and we would not have to mess with any yucky proprietary code. For the rest I don't see the point and would personally recommend NOT having 3D models in the game. I have yet t...

genix is the primary administrator for globulation but right now the glob2 engine is going through a massive rewrite. I'm not certain how much longer it will take but it apparently is at the compilation stage so it might be better to hold off a little before supplying a mac binary.

this has been mentioned previously but no one has ever implemented it. Most people playing the game set their own priority by just keeping track of the globs assigned to work on a building.
