Re: About the Name
Unless I'm misunderstanding your intentions, based on what I found, software names are generally not translated. So I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Using WinterDryads terrain+FOW as the default?
I voted yes. The game graphics haven't changed in years. It would be nice to have a change. Combined with the new maps Zenfur made, it should bring the game back to life for new players.

Re: Fix this Sconstruct error
You have either too old a version of scons, or too newer version.
Try upgrading/downgrading till it works.

Re: Regarding Recent Spam Issues
Looks like the update stopped spam for a little bit. Very happy about that ^_^
I've also just moved forums around a bit, and locked the ideas and bugs forums (we have proper places for those now).

Re: Regarding Recent Spam Issues
Good job k776! We really needed somebody to do this work... Yer. I'd hoped to do it sooner, but I only just got back access to the server files last week. 1. I don't see icon of warrior/worker/explorer Got a context of where these were used? Are they important? 2. (joking) new banner without lvl 2 ...

Re: Game crashes at Tutorial 3
Hey Zenfur,
Yep, the bug should be fixed in 0.9.3.1 (source and debian). I never got around to update the Windows one.
With another release just around the corner though, I'm going to wait before I make one.
Regards
Kieran

Regarding Recent Spam Issues
Hello everyone, As you might have seen, we were recently plagued by spam. Bots used an exploit in phpBB to avoid the captcha and email verification. The only way to stop the spam at the time was to disable registrations. I've now been able to upgrade phpBB to the latest stable version, which should ...

Re: The Forum registration will be locked from now on
I disabled it until we got to upgrade it. Despite the capcha being really hard, bots are getting through and spamming. I've had to take time cleaning out the posts/accounts. The captcha is hard for even humans, so my guess is they are exploiting a bug. However, someone re-enabled registration (/me l...

Because there aren't any ones made at the moment. The old one was so out of date, we had to remove it.

Sourceforge is simply a mirror. So is nongnu.org.

Re: Voice communication?
Voice chat on mac and windows in beta3 doesn't work. Voice chat on linux in beta 3 works only under certain conditions.
However, with beta4, there is a new voice chat lib which should help a lot (3rd party, more regularly updated).
Beta4 will hopefully be out soon. Stay tuned.....

Re: Defence Towers
Beta4 has quite a lot of tweaks to building health/strength, and unit health/strength. It makes the game longer, and more enjoyable. We where hoping for a beta4 release about 2 months ago, but because our lead developer hasn't had the time due to other commitments, it's been delayed until some final...
